  • Experience prior to Ergotron: Medical Technologist in hospital environment in Ontario, Canada. After a stint in a Transplant Unit at a Cardiac Investigation Lab, Steve moved to Toronto’s York-Finch General Hospital during the early 1990s. During this period he moved into Information Systems, blending his healthcare background with emerging technologies. Soon after Steve lead a team to perform one of the first successful wireless cart point-of-care projects in North America. His work here and later with Power Cart Systems directly impacted the development of a compact power source that would keep laptops on customized carts dependable for a full eight-hour shift. In 1996, Steve became a Project Manager for the Cerner Healthcare Software implementation at London Health Science, London, Ontario
